2009 Annual Meeting
Saturday 19th September from 12 midday at St John's
Church, Waterloo - opposite the mainline station and the IMAX
Cinema.
We are thrilled and delighted that Bishop
Mark and Helen will be with us for the day.
Full details in the Summer magazine due in late July.
Bishop Dinis
Bishop Dinis is makiing a flying visit 31 July - 5
August 2009.
He will be at St Luke's Church, Swindon
for the 10.30 Sunday Mass on 2 August. All supporters in the
area are most welcome to attend and for the reception afterwards.
Please contact the parish office on 01793 538220 if you are
able to attend to give some idea of numbers.
On Monday 3 August he will be meeting the Bath
& Wells Diocesan Mothers' Union in Wells.
On Tuesday 4 August he will be at St Mary's
Redcliffe, Bristol for the 12.30 Eucharist and will speak
at a special lunch provided by the parish after the service.
If you are able to be at St Mary's to meet him and hear him
speak, PLEASE contact St Mary's Parish Office 0117 929 1487
so that the parish has some idea of numbers.
We are hoping to arrange a meeting in the
West Midlands on 1 or 2 August. Details will be posted
as soon as they have been confirmed.

Mission Statement
To further the work of
the Anglican Communion in Mozambique and Angola, and to broaden the
awareness of the Anglican Communion of their sister churches in Mozambique
and Angola.
To further the objectives
of the mission statement, MANNA (Mozambique and Angola Anglican Association)
is registered as a charity (no. 262818) in order to:
- raise funds for projects related to the work of the churches
in Mozambique and Angola, such as church building, transport, literature
and clergy training;
- publish news and information about the churches in Mozambique
and Angola, and of MANNA's involvement with them, with a biannual
magazine and an 'Update' newsletter.
- provide information, publicity materials and speakers
for groups, organizations and churches interested in the work of
the Anglican Communion in Mozambique and Angola
- support and liaise with other charitable organizations
sharing the same objectives. To this end, MANNA is a member of Partnerships
in World Missions.
The Trustees of MANNA include the commissaries
for the three Bishops in Mozambique and Angola: Dinis Sengulane
of Lebombo, Mark van Koevering of Niassa and Andre Soares of Angola.
The Executive Committee of MANNA meets quarterly in London to decide
on matters of policy and funding.
