Mission in Leadership Priests are leaders, but at present they earn only £16 a month. This is £2 less than the minimum wage and not enough to support a family. We want to raise the stipend to a dignified level so that priests are free to work full time as ordained ministers in our Diocese. We want to raise stipends to £65 a month. It would only take 100 priests in the UK paying £14 a month to reach our goal. We aim to be self sufficient in 5 years time.
